SEARCH TIPS: -at the moment there are 50606 entries, mostly articles, all concerning ottoman and turkish studies. There are double entries, but not many.
- the turkish characters ş, ı, ğ are not searchable. But you should try both c & ç, o & ö, u & ü, to get the best results. eg: type 'inalcik' instead of 'inalcık' but you should try both suleyman and süleyman to get all the results.
-Greek entries are transliterated but there is no uniform system. eg. try both 'o' and 'w' for the letter omega
-queries in arabic: try w, q, th instead of v, k, s. eg: try 'uthmani' instead of 'osmani'
-queries in armenian: try w, e instead of u, i . eg: try 'patmutiwn' instead of 'patmutyun'
-queries in albanian: you should use 'ë'
-queries in slavic languages: try š, ž
